Just wondering where you people buy your original cds.. I've been trying to find a proper site (i mean secure, where the package actually reach you) and yet browsing from encyclopaedia metallicum seemed the easiest way for me.

Haven't seen any shop in MU for metal yet (I'm looking for the latest Wolves In The Throne Room, maybe that's why)..

amazon is a good site. I bought a couple of cds on there and had them shipped in MRU. They have a good selection too. They don't have a lot of underground stuff though

Went to Rose-Hill today and as far as I know, there are only 3 places for cds Ahkai music shop, someshop in Magic Lantern and smash records.. Managed to get hold of Guano Apes' Proud like a god and Sonic Youth's Dirty @ Smash, no need to mention the aesthetic side of the cd holder, but at least they still do have metal.

Ahkai music shop was 'ok', finding to my great surprise Age of Nero from Satyricon ONLY as BM/DM.. too bad Satyricon turned pop.

Dernier place la pas causer, apart Korn (sa album ek ene zoizo la sa i think) zero..

Concernant Smash Records, for those interested, they have the new Protest The Hero there, don't remember the price though. For those interested, an original cd would cost you around Rs 300 - 800 and for the ones not in stock (undertand most of them haha), it's gonna take 10 days.. At least you CAN get the material.

Missed that thread, sorry… For me, nothing beats CD Universe : must cheaper shipping costs than Amazon for delivery to Mauritius. For delivery to Europe, however, play.com is the best, as the shipping is free. I have my CDs/DVDs delivered to friends there and then sent to me via Air Mauritius cabin crews I know.
